Slipped out of the house this morning around 5:50 am to cast my fly rod in the local city pond. I can usually fish for a few hours and then make it home before the kids wake up. I really like this little popper even though it is on the large size for some of these fish. Also most of the time I go for a white popper. The fish could see a white one and think of bread or a bug. Give 'em a choice.
